Magali Cunico is currently at a six months residency at The Royal Academy of Arts’ studio in Paris and will show her latest work the same evening.

”A Whisper and three trembling shadows” is an ongoing collaboration betweenMagali Cunico and Erik Hagman. The piece consists of a tent that acts asa camera obscura and a sound work recorded at a meadow. The intentionbehind the piece called ”A Whisper and three trembling shadows” are tocreate a spatial experience of a landscape that interacts with our immediateenvironment to evoke memories and offer an ambiguous picture of what we believenature stands for. A tent is a temporary construction that one canquickly move to new places. It relates to how we, as human beings, consciouslyand unconsciously construct an image of our world that reflects our ideas anddesires. This inner image is just like in the camera obscura, a projection inconstant change.
